  • MFA wraps up a successful Marine Fabricator Conference 2016

    The Marine Fabricators Conference took place Jan. 14-16, 2016, in Clearwater, Fla.

    The annual event attracts the marine fabricators industry throughout the United States. This was a record setting year in attendance with a total registration number of 260. Of the 260 registered 191 were attendees and 69 were exhibitors.

  • Outboard-engine shipments grow

    The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) reports U.S. outboard-engine wholesale shipments were up 4.9 percent over the previous April, based on sales reports from the manufacturers representing 95 percent of the market. Total retail sales, based on warranty card registrations, were up 8.2 percent.
